Not only does it look good, with its natural mahogany woodgrain, but it plays better than other basses in its price range with its highly playable GSR4 maple neck and the rich midrange and crisp high end you'll get from its jatoba fingerboard. The combination of passive Dynamix P (neck) and Dynamix J (bridge) pickups and, the Phat II EQ with active bass boost adds additional low-end power, while a tone knob and individual volume control knobs for each pickup gives you plenty of tonal options for such an affordable bass. A B10 bridge offers solid tuning stability and allows for fully adjustable intonation, no matter your skill level.
